October 14th 2014



Below is a letter written to the editor who wrote the article 'Enforcement of dress code creates negative effect' that your blogged about last week. Most of you wrote on your blog that you agreed with the writer. What are your thoughts after reading the letter below and seeing a different perspective. Are they the same? Are the different? Do you agree? Disagree? Explain yourself.



My opinion is actually almost entirely the same. The only article above states a lot about being a professional adult and having a time and place to wear the attire being discussed but never tells what they're opinion about where this attire should be worn. There is also a difference between what a teacher can wear to school and what a student should be allowed. At school a teacher is at work, doing their jobs to educate us which calls for somewhat professional clothing. Students, however much they are learning are doing more than just cramming for tests. They are learning to deal with other people and situation they'll experience in life with their peers. They're socializing which calls for more freedom of dress, although not out of control. Other than that my opinion has stayed the same. I'd also like to say that yes the Administrations intentions are good, but the way they go about is often flawed,
