Blog Post of the Day:
What is a Public Service Announcement? If you don't know what it is, Google it. In your own words, now tell me what it is? What are they used for? Can you recall an example of a PSA you've seen before?

A public service announcement is a announcement made by usually the gov. over T.V or radio for as many people to hear as possible. They are usually used to spread the word about a specific topic, event, war or service in need of funding and is usually not for profit on its own. A example of a PSA I've seen is the dog shelter commercials where animals have been rescued from abusive owners and now sit in cages waiting for adoption.
